In the future I think the act of deforestation will occur and the Koalas will have to move to some place like the desert. It would be a good place to move there for the Koalas because since they were used to the tropical temperature they could handle the temperature in the desert. In the desert there are pine trees and this would be a good source for the koala to eat and possibly drink, even though the koala isn’t known for drinking. At the moment the Koala has very sharp claws but if it starts to live on pine trees then its claws might need to be a bit longer to reach from branch to branch. Also, since there are no poisonous leaves on the pine trees then the Koala might not have to use its sense of smell and it could get worse. Even though the Koalas diet is usually eucalyptus leaves, it occasionally has been known to eat pine trees.
